Sorrowful tears can turn into joyful tears. I turn my sad moments around when I think about a sad moment in my family I think about how much I love being a Mother, and a grandmother. My grandsons call me Mom Mom! The name given to me by my first grandson.
A mother’s love is forever. God Blessed me with two beautiful and talented children and four amazing grandsons. In recent years our family has expanded.
I know occasionally, almost every family faces difficulty, anger and confusion, but if you’re not speaking to a family member for any reason pray about it, talk about why, forgive and move forward. Gathering for birthdays, anniversary’s and during the holidays are moments you can’t get back. But you can make new memories every day. What can possibly be more fun than family dinners?
I’ve been through difficult times and I cherish my time with my family. Sometimes, a few simple words bring total happiness. I’m not claiming that I am the best cook or my food is better than everyone else’s but children and grandchildren have a way to make you feel special.
I want to share what my grandson, Christopher, says "Mom Mom makes the best chili." I feel joyful that he feels that way. I have to make a extra large pot of chili so he can have his own container to take home with him.
Presenting Mom Mom's chili.
